    Zhongneng Chemical Technology is one of the three global top manufacturers of heat transfer fluids and biphenyl products, which is located in Lian Yungang Chemical Industrial Park in Jiangsu Province, China. We produce SCHULTZ® heat transfer fluid series and DYNOVA® functional chemical series with over 10,000 tons annual capacity per each.

What's the relationship between Zhongneng and Schultz?

    Zhongneng Chemical Technology specializes in developing and producing SCHULTZ® heat transfer fluids and DYNOVA® functional chemicals. SCHULTZ® and DYNOVA® are two brands of Zhongneng Chemical Technology.

What is your business scope? Do you have any foreign agencies?

    We have established affiliates both in China and Canada with the global sales network in 8 countries and districts. Our customers are from various fields and many of them are the Fortune 500. SCHULTZ® heat transfer fluids and DYNOVA® functional chemicals play the effective roles in crude oil, coal chemical, plastic and fiber, pharmaceutical, new energy and food industries.

What is your performance so far?

    1. We have the world leading heat transfer fluid and biphenyl series vertical ecological industrial chains. 2. We are the first domestic manufacture who develops low-sulfur and low-chloride biphenyl product. 3. We are the drafter of domestic industrial standard YB/T4380-2014 Biphenyl. 4. We are the drafter of domestic standard Heat Transfer Fluid for CSP. 5. We are the first company who industrial produces hydrogenated terphenyl product. 6. Our SCHULTZ® synthetic high temperature heat transfer fluids are used in the world largest single capacity polyester fiber project. 7. Our SCHULTZ® hydrogenated terphenyl product has the industrial lowest deteriorating rate in 350℃ (662℉) thermal stability test.

Do you have the right to export? What is your package?

    We have the self-support import and export right. There are diversified ways of packing, including paper bag, drum and ISO-TANK, to satisfy the different demands from our customers. All packages we used strictly comply with the export standard covering the packing performance inspection list, IMO class, dangerous goods number and shipping mark. We also provide customized supply modes, such as sea/air transportation and full container load/less than container load.

How to classify heat transfer fluids?

    Heat transfer fluid is the general name for organic heat transfer medium. According to the chemical structures, fluids can be divided into hydrocarbon, ether, alcohol and fluorine, silicone oil, halocarbon and nitrogen heterocyclic ring fluids. According to the chemical components, heat transfer fluids can be divided into synthetic fluid and mineral fluid. Besides, based on fluid boiling range, it can also be divided into gas phase fluid and liquid phase fluid.

What features should the ideal fluid have?

    The ideal heat transfer fluid should have excellent heat transfer efficiency and wide operation temperature range, including: 1. Good thermal stability, strong anti-oxidation, low volatility, long service life, renewability 2. Excellent performance including low viscosity, condensation point, boiling point and flash point, high spontaneous ignition point and good flowability in low temperature 3. Environment friendly, low toxicity, no strange smell and no risk of fire hazard in normal operation 4. Excellent performance including high heat conductivity coefficient, specific heat and latent heat of evaporation 5. Low corrosivity and carbon residue, low ash and moisture content, low acid value 6. Cost saving and adequate supply

What is the difference between synthetic fluid and mineral fluid?

    Synthetic heat transfer fluid is produced through chemical synthesis process. The product has the certain chemical structure, composition and chemical designation. Mineral oil is derived from crude oil by fractional distillation and refining, which is a by-product generated during the production of lubricating oil. Mineral oil is composed mainly of a mixture of hydrocarbons. Compared with mineral oil, synthetic heat transfer fluid has features such as good heat stability, high operating temperature, resistance to coking, long service life and regenerating properties.

What is the function of fluid thermal stability?

    Thermal stability of heat transfer fluid is the indicator to differ from other oils based on its operation and safety performance, which has great influence on fluid types and categories. The test of fluid thermal stability defines its maximum operation temperature and category.
